The KF hosts various exhibitions in cooperation with organizations that seek to introduce world cultures to Koreans and foreign residents in Korea. | |

Foreign embassies and cultural institutes in Korea, non-profit local and international organizations Please note: Private individuals are not eligible to apply. | |

Eligible Areas | |
|
Various visual arts, including crafts, design, paintings, and photography as well as architecture showcasing the cultural diversity of countries around the world | |

Details of Support | |
|
For exhibitions with content deemed to be outstanding through an evaluation process, the Korea Foundation may offer certain project-related assistance for the below items. In such cases, the Korea Foundation should be credited as “co-host” of the exhibition.
Possible assistance: KF Gallery space; production costs of PR materials; installation and deinstallation costs; KF Gallery management costs. Please note: Besides the above mentioned items, all other costs should be covered by applicants. The Korea Foundation does not offer any direct financial assistance to applicants.

Program Period | |
|
During the year of 2026, exhibitions must run for a minimum of one month and up to a maximum of two months.
Please note: The duration of exhibition periods depends on the proposed period and the KF Gallery’s availability. The period may be adjusted through mutual agreement. The exhibition period always includes installation and deinstallation days. The KF Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 7 a.m. from Monday through Saturday. The KF Gallery is closed on Sundays and national holidays. | |

1. Online application 2. Supplementary materials (to be uploaded with the online application) ① Exhibition proposal: Detailed information about the exhibition, curator, artists, purpose, etc. ② List of participating artists and curators biography ③ List of artworks, including photos, titles, names of artists, materials, sizes, etc. ④ Exhibition Design: installation plan at the KF Gallery Please note: All application materials must be submitted in both Korean and English. | |

Evaluation Criteria | |
|
1. Quality of proposed projects and exhibition plan as well as expected outcomes in terms of advancing cultural exchange / understanding 2. Extent of contribution to help Koreans better understand / appreciate world cultures 3. Qualification and proven credibility of applicant organization (Careful consideration will be placed on the previous activities of applicant organizations and project participants, and an assessment of any past projects that received support from the KF.) 4. Suitability to the objectives and priorities of the KF’s programs (fostering friendship between Korea and the world; major diplomatic occasions such as commemorating the establishment of diplomatic ties; promoting universal values of humankind; addressing global issues such as climate change and environmental protection; etc.) | |

1. Please be advised that the KF’s evaluation of proposed exhibitions will be based solely on the information and materials provided in the application. Applications cannot be processed unless all required information is provided. 2. Should a force majeure event occur, such as a natural disaster or a pandemic, this program may inevitably have to be delayed, modified, or canceled. | |
