2016-2018 Support for Overseas Museums 

Second Round of Application

The second round of application for the 2016-2018 Overseas Museums Program is now under way. The Korea Foundation (KF) offers program support to qualified museums for the undertaking of Korea-related exhibitions, public outreach programs on Korean arts and culture, one-day Korea Day cultural events in conjunction with a special exhibition, and a visiting curator program, for the purpose of making Korea’s arts and culture better known and more familiar to audiences around the world.

Eligible Projects

The following types of projects that are scheduled for implementation during the period of July 1, 2016 through December 31, 2018. Priority will be placed on the Korea Day events and Visiting Curator Program placements that are being implemented in the year 2016. 

* 2017-2019 Program Application period will be from July through August 2016

1.        Korea-related Exhibitions

2.        Public Outreach Programs on Korean Arts and Culture

3.         Korea Day Events

4.         2016-2017 Visiting Curator Program

Program Schedule

1. Application Period: March 8-31, 2016

2. Evaluation of Applications: April 2016

3. Notification of Results: Early May 2016

4. Conclusion of Grant Agreement: from May 2016

5. Remittance of Program Support: Upon the Foundation’s receipt and acceptance of the Final Project Execution Plan
